A Court Victory Al Gore May Not Want to Advertise
Courts have not always sided with Al Gore, but his interests have prevailed in a San Francisco case involving a work of art whose creator claimed it had been misappropriated by Mr. Gore's cable television channel, Current TV. The art, a photograph, belonged to a Berkeley professor, and Mr. Gore and Current TV had used it without permission, payment... More »
Who Will Succeed Al Gore?
Seeing Al Gore so deservedly share the Nobel Peace Prize, it is impossible not to note the contrast in his leadership and that of George W. Bush. Mr. Gore and Mr. Bush each faced a crucible moment. For Mr. Gore, it was winning the popular vote and having the election taken away from him by a Republican-dominated Supreme Court. For Mr. Bush, it was... More »

A British judge has rejected an effort to ban school showings of ''An Inconvenient Truth,'' the Academy Award-winning documentary, directed by Davis Guggenheim, about Al Gore's quest to spur action against global warming, Agence France-Presse reported. Is Hillary Clinton the New Old Al Gore?
THE Democrats can't lose the White House in 2008, can they? Some 13 months before Election Day, the race's dynamic seems immutable. Americans can't wait to evict the unpopular president and end his disastrous war. As the campaign's poll-tested phrasemaking constantly reminds us, voters crave change above all else. That means nearly any Democrat... More »

The Passion of Al Gore
Al Gore is earnestly talking about the long-term implications of the energy and climate crises, and how the Arctic ice cap is receding much faster than computer models had predicted, and how difficult and delicate a task it will be to try and set things straight in Iraq. Al Gore Has Big Plans
One afternoon in February, Al Gore was waiting to board a commercial flight from Nashville to Miami, where he was to deliver the slide show that forms the basis of ''An Inconvenient Truth,'' his Academy Award-winning documentary on global warming. The Groundhog Emerged, and Sounded a Lot Like Al Gore
Groundhog Day has been part of the Western calendar since around the fifth century, which means it has survived centuries of Catholicism, the Reformation, the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution, and the advent of the agriculture of cloned sheep. But whether it will survive in an age of global warming was one question -- albeit not the biggest... More »

You are 100% correct in that the public does view Al Gore as a self effacing overtly braggadocio fool. Anything he says is bound to be taken with a truckload of salt, based on the aforementioned.

The jig is up, baby! Al Gore is a dishonest anti-American opportunist. I hope eventually he'll be charged with something. Or another.

I have no idea. However, he misses the point entirely when it comes to Global Warming. Sure he says it is happening, but he does not have a good solution for the problem in my view. Switch to renewable fuels? Okay, nice idea you say...What happens to the price of CORN then? I will tell you. Corn goes right up through the ceiling in cost. And, along with that goes the price of all animal feeds made from corn, along with the price for all cereals and other human foods using CORN. And, Ethanol based gasoline does not cost less, it costs more because it requires new refinery equipment, plumbing and filtering equiment to make it. If you want to stop Global Warming you must get rid of BLACK roofs, and change them to WHITE roofs. If you want to stop Global Warming you must stop paving the Earth's surface with BLACK ASPHALT and use a lighter colored material. If you want to reduce the amnount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere you MUST begin planting new evergreen shrubs everywhere there is vacant space and toss in drip irrigation for them. Look at how much vacant space there is on the roofs of Motels, Hotels, Warehouses, Factories, Homes, etc. It can be done, if you take action now. It will not happen by Treaty, by passing some stupid law, or by selling Energy Credits like shares of stock.

If Al Gore isn't all that concerned with global warming I'm not going to worry much about it either. Obviously he doesn't think it a big enough deal to change his own lifestyle.
How can Al Gore be contacted or has he left Tennessee for some tropical island until winter is over?
